I Give Thanks
Celebrate the abundance of the harvest;
a time for song, dance, and feasts;
a time of balance, day and night are equal once again.
Sadness within, fear and trepidation, as the world begins to tilt toward the time of darkness.
Slow down, and recognize your harvests;
Appreciate and connect, those near, those far, those long gone;
The light goes into hiding,
Greet Stag, Raven, Owl, Eagle and Salmon.
Hail to grapes and vines, wine, garland, pine cones, acorns, dried leaves, Indian corn, gourds, wheat, rattles and horns of plenty.
Lets wander wild places and forests, gathering seed pods and nuts.
